Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026 ยท Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains how Podske LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Carrier Pay Guide at carrierpayguide.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, shares and protects information. It applies to the Site and to emails you exchange with us. It doesn't apply to other websites we link to.
The short version
- You can read the whole Site, including the full checklist and calculators, without giving us any personal information. To download the printable kit, we ask for your email address.
- We don't run ads, we don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we never sell or rent your personal information.
- We send you ongoing emails (scam alerts and new guides) only if you tick the box asking for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to help you.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to put in your message (for example how many trucks you run or what you're looking for). Please don't send us sensitive information such as your Social Security number, bank or card details, FMCSA PIN or passwords. We will never ask for them.
The kit sign-up form. If you fill in the form to get our free kit, we collect your email address, the stage you choose (optional), whether you ticked the box for ongoing emails, the date and time, the page you signed up on and how you found the Site (for example a link with a campaign tag), and the country your connection comes from as reported by Cloudflare. We don't store your IP address with your sign-up.
Page feedback. If you use the "Was this page useful?" box, we store your yes/no answer, any comment you type, the page and the time. It isn't linked to your email. Please don't put personal details in comments.
Calculators. Numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the Site and to protect it from attacks and abuse.
Site statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. According to Cloudflare, it doesn't use cookies or local storage, doesn't fingerprint visitors, and reports only aggregated statistics (such as page views, referring sites, country and device type). We can't use it to identify you.
Cookies. The Site doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Site from bots and attacks.
2. How we use information
- To answer your questions and provide information you ask for.
- To deliver the kit you asked for.
- If you ticked the box (or asked us by email), to send you scam alerts and new guides. Every such email will include our name, a valid postal address and a one-click unsubscribe, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
- To understand which guides help, using sign-up and feedback counts.
- To run, secure and improve the Site.
- To comply with the law, enforce our rights, and prevent fraud or abuse.
We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers that run things for us under their own security and privacy commitments: Cloudflare (website hosting, security, statistics, and the database that stores sign-ups and feedback) and Google (our email provider). If we start using an email-sending service for updates, we will name it here before we use it.
- Introductions you ask for. If you ask us to put you in touch with a company, for example a factoring company, we share only the details you agree to share, and only with that company. After that, its own privacy policy applies to what it receives.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of you, us or others.
- Business changes. If Podske LLC or the Site is merged, sold or transferred, information may move with it, subject to this policy.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Referral relationships
In the future, some companies we link to may pay us a referral fee if you sign up with them. Those links will be marked "Paid link". Clicking one takes you to that company's site, where its own privacy policy applies, and the company may record that you arrived from our Site. We don't send them your personal information unless you ask us to introduce you. See how we make money.
5. How long we keep information
We keep a sign-up until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we stop sending updates. Page feedback is kept for up to three years. We keep emails only as long as needed to help you and to keep normal business records, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Aggregated statistics contain no personal information, so they may be kept indefinitely.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including two-factor authentication on our accounts, access limited to the people who need it, and encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as required by law, including Massachusetts law (M.G.L. c. 93H).
7. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that's wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you updates (or use the unsubscribe link in any update).
Email [email protected] from the address you used with us. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. If you're a resident of a state with its own privacy law and we decline a request, you can reply to ask us to reconsider.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don't track you across other websites, and we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, so there's nothing for these signals to switch off. We still treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of any such sale or sharing.
8. Children
The Site is for people running trucking businesses. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Visitors outside the United States
We're based in the United States, and the Site is meant for U.S. trucking businesses. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, for example starting an email newsletter, we'll post a clear notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
